We (4 partners) took over a large self catering beach house with 12 ensuite bedrooms, living room, music room, gym, arts and crafts, bar, reception rooms and Great Hall in 2020. It was a daunting task, starting in lockdown to transform the property to a high end luxury holiday house. Karine has now advised us for 2 years, working through the bedrooms, the dining room, living room, hallways, staircases, and arts and crafts room. She has created a cinema room, a new therapy room, a further bedroom and a reading area. The result is outstanding. Karine is very hard working, acknowledges the differing tastes of the 4 partners and adapts designs to suit, working strictly to a budget. She is quick and efficient, presents her ideas in an inspiring way so that you get a real idea of how the room will look, sources suitable items and liaises with contractors to complete the refurbishments. She has provided an excellent service at a very reasonable cost. We would definitely recommend her for any major project.

In my opinion, what makes Karine so exceptional in what she does is her ability to listen! I was looking to bring alive the house I have been living in for many years, but I was struggling to see it anew. Karine listened to my brief attentively and transformed the message into a well thought through project that I hadn't imagined I would like that much! It incorporates existing elements that I like or are practical but it brings a new feel to the house and it makes it flow perfectly. We instructed Karine to update the interior of our holiday cottage on the North Yorkshire Coast. The cottage had been painted white in every room and we were keen that the new decor gave the cottage more of a wow factor. There were some things that we wanted to keep such as certain curtains, sofas, light fittings etc. We also wanted the exterior of the property to be more appealing that it currently was. Karine worked with this and produced a very imaginative colour palette for the interior and exterior that tied in with what we already had whilst ensuring the scheme was harmonious throughout the cottage. She then suggested additions to the soft furnishings and lightening that enhanced the whole design further. She brought imagination and inspiring ideas to the project. Further, she encouraged us to consider things that we would not have been brave enough to do without her guidance. All these decisions proved to be correct. We could not be more pleased with the design. Many guests have commented on the standard of the décor and the ambiance of the cottage.
