BATHROOM renovation - RYE, EAST SUSSEX

This bathroom renovation was part of the transformation of a charming cottage in the beautiful town of Rye. To maximise the available space, we replaced the existing bath with a walk-in shower. By extending the partition wall, we create just enough height to comfortably accommodate a full shower while maintaining an open and airy feel.

A key priority was preserving the original drying cupboard behind the new shower enclosure, an invaluable feature in a period cottage that continues to provide practical everyday storage.

To further improve functionality, we introduces a wider oak vanity unit, offering additional storage while bringing warmth and natural texture to the room. The combination of rich wood tones, elegant fixtures, and contemporary finishes has modernised the space while remaining sympathetic to the character of the property.

The result is a styling and practical bathroom that balances modern living with the charm of a traditional cottage.
